I may be a campground caretaker this summer 2 days north from N.C. in MN. No problem with chickens once I get there. I am considering putting a 'box' on a utility trailor to thansport the 9-12 beasts there as leaving them here for 3 months is just not wise. Has anyone else been dumb enough to try this, and did it work. I assume that they will be scared at first as all change scares them. My hope is they would settle in to the trip and be O.K. but I hate to kill them on a road trip. I really do not want them in the car for 2 days drive. How dumb is this concept?
