transporting two geese

Hi just wonder what age geese can handle colder temperatures (0ish) i have to transport two geese about 1000km. One goose is 4 weeks and the other is 3 weeks old. Wondering if they can handle the cold in a coup in the truck bed or a warmer more confined cardboard box is better.

I'd cut air holes in the card board box and transport that way..I wouldn't want to take the chance on them getting chilled since they aren't feathered in at that age.
