Thanks you are all so lovely and encouraging to me.
Yeah those darn traps are not nice sometimes. DH and I were there last year when one went badly wrong. It came down on the side of the head of a mouse and litterally tore his ear and half the face off we dispatched him very very fast as we have a handy rock that props open the coop door so it doesn;t blow back on our girls. - We only put traps out at night so our girls are in bed and the local birds - Who also steal the chicken feed are not about. I do try hard not to hurt the animals. I like a clean kill but so often it doesn;t happen that way. I may try the peppermint -????????????? That sounds good to try anyhow. Cause if it works I can evict the momma mouse from the food store without killing!!!
