I've installed a trap door in the floor of my coop. The ground is 2' below the level of the coop floor, and I have a carpeted board about 56" long running to the ground.
How do I get my chicks (~4-5 weeks) to use this ladder board? I want them to be able to enjoy the dirt below the coop! I've tried treats, food, and greens below the hatch.
Also, any pics of your similar setup? Thanks for the help!
