X2 Dumping the tuna in the trap works the best. I found some very smart strays that would eat from outside the trap somehow.A can of tuna is the best bait you can use. Otherwise raw chicken trimmings work pretty well too.
If you use tuna drip the oil on the ground leading up to the trap, and then dump some in the back of the trap behind the pan. Works great.
