Travel question

i am new to having chickens as backyard animals/pets. I am going on a 1 week trip soon, and won’t be around for a week or so. Will they forget me by the time I’m back? This may seem silly but I’m worried

They won't forget you! Chickens are able to recognize and remember multiple faces for a long time without forgetting.

Do you have someone to watch the chooks while you're away?

I’m glad they won’t forget me! I felt silly asking this question. And yes my partner is watching them while I’m away because we raised them together : D they’re familiar with them as well.

I'm glad you asked! I'm leaving for a week soon too! I agree though that they can recognize and remember a lot of faces. (I think I read somewhere around 100 faces!) They will be fine! Glad you have someone to watch over them while you are gone!
