i just moved from Montana to California (where I am from) and we were pulling a u-haul so they stopped us we had our dogs cats and chickens on thing they asked about was Exotic birds...parakeets and parrots as well as fruits and veggies. The lady didn't see the chickens or she didn't care but we brought them. And we brought them on vacation to california one time before when they were chicks and we didn't have a uhaul at the time and they just waved us through.
