I take the powdered crumbles left in the feeder that the chicks won't eat, mix it with some raw oatmeal, and add some water. Set it in the run and get out of the way.
The girls love it ! Funny watching them clean each other's beaks. Guess you could mix it with whatever they like and come up with your own special treat that's still healthy for them.
