Treated plywood warping at one end

I hadn't thought of the overhang and water issue, dang it! I've got some extra rolled roofing that could cover the entire lid and provide some over hang.

Might also think about making the egg access on the back instead of the top.
Then you could pin down that warp and add roofing with overhang.
