Coop floor question....
I accidentally used treated wood for the floor of the coop .(its all put up now.)
.Wonder if using linolium on the floor would work as far as keeping the chickens from being poisoned by the arsenic etc gases or should i paint it with waterproof paint (low VOC )and then put down the sheet vinyl
OR just use a sheet of untreated wood over the treated then vinyl flooring

I would use a sheet of untreated wood over it and the put down the vinyl flooring to ease cleaning

The new pressure treated wood is supposed to be safe. I would paint it, but you will have to wait for it to dry enough to paint. I doubt that you could reliably get an adhesive to stick to it for tiles until it dries. The added sheet might be an excellent idea.
