So my drake, Toke absolutely hates me. As in he will 100% go out of his way to attack me and only me. I'm not mad about it he feels like he's protecting his girls and he's a good boy for it. Even if it does mean I can't wear shorts and I have bruises all over my hands and legs from the little $h!+. I still love him.
Anyways, because of his relentless attacks, as I am walking around he.is typically very much underfoot and I have to be very careful with how I walk, I have definitely kicked him on accident before and Im worried it's a matter of time before I step on one of his feet and do some serious hurt to him. Anyone have experience with this or suggestions on what to do were this to occur?

Look that the murder in his eyes.

That's funny murder in his eyes. Take the broom with you and when he starts just sweep the little murderer away from you. You can also use it to keep him at a distance. I have also been using the hose on my drake I don't hit him in the face with it but the chest and that will make him go away or when he starts he gets a free toss in the pool compliments of me. Once he gets in the pool he forgets all about me and starts splashing around.

Works until he's not afraid of the broom then he just ducks around it (ha puny). Hose works if I'm holding it but he's smart and knows when he can get me having random unfamiliar objects to toss at him helps until he realizes it won't kill him lol.

Well you sure have a trouble maker there. Only hope for this boy is fall when hormones begin to wane and they are actually "Normal" again. I don't stop with Opie he gets a bath at least once a day and the hose turned on him a couple times. If I am sitting out with them he likes to sneak up from behind and bite me on the skin but I get him and toss him in the pool.

Pin him to the ground and while he's down pretend to peck him on the back of his head like another duck would. This shows him you are dominant. It won't fix it the first time you do it but if you continue to do it he will get the point and we'll learn not to mess with you.

Beautiful drake though 😍

Did that for a month. If anything made him more mean and determined haha. But like I said I still love him and just am scared of stepping on him and hurting him. It'll be pretty hard to treat him if I have too.

He's a handsome bird -- as is my O Pato. Do try the therapy with him and perhaps also the time out in a dogcrate. The inside of my forearms are black and blue from O Pato. But he is as sweet as any of my drakes when he comes out of the crate after just 3 or 4 minutes time out.
