What would be the best thing to give a duck for pain? She was attacked last night and I lost 2 and she has some superficial but 1 really bad wound. I’m treating the wounds with a spray but would like to help her pain. Any advice is appreciated. Thank you!

baby aspirin is okay for animals, I'm pretty sure. Not sure of the dose. What spray are you using for the wound? Could we see a pic of the injury?

Did a predator breach your coop? I am sorry you lost all but this one. I'd wash her wounds real well with saline and then use Veterycin. I would not leave her outside flies will get into the wounds and lay eggs then you'll be dealing with maggots. So keep her inside clip her feathers back away from her wound so you can treat and also get a good picture of the wosrt one so we can help you treat.

Unfortunately she passed. I’m not sure what we are dealing with at the moment. We are working on figuring that out so we can take proper actions for that. Thank you for trying to help!
