Treating a sprain?

I have a chicken that is limping and favoring one leg. She has not other signs of injury, is eating, drinking, and socializing. Other than waiting to make sure she continues to improve, is there any first aid I should be rendering?

My pullet is limping bad from an injury. Has a swollen knee joint.
Giving her a quiet area, paper towels over bedding so she doesn't have to lift her leg. A half baby asprin dissolved in water w a syringe couple times a day.
Vet said to watch her, she's in some pain wjen I touch her leg, closes her eyes.
Do you know if yours was injured? I made mine a sling but she got out & slept under it.

It must be an injury, it came out of nowhere. She's a lot better, I really didn't have to do too much, she just finds a quiet place and sits when she's not eating or sqwawking at the dog. I didn't use painkiller because she didn't look like she was in a lot of pain. Looks like my old lady chicken friend is going to be around for a while Thank you for your help.
