Treating chickens w/Tylan 50. Need more suggestions!!!!

Is it safe to give Tylan 50 to laying hens. If so, how long should I wait before we use the eggs again?

I give bantams .25cc 2xs a day 3 to 5 days and a standard .35cc. Everyone is different but that works for me.

IVE ALSO HEARD GIVE IT TO THEM ORALLY AS WELL. THAT IS GOING TO BE EASIEST FOR ME. I HAVE ONE WITH A WATERY BUBBLY CLOSED EYE. I HAVE BEEN GIVING A RINSE EVERYDAY FOR COMFORT TOO. I HAVE A WATER TREATMENT DAILY TOO. WE WILL SEE

First of all i want to thank everyone for all their information on tylan 50. I have 5 sick girls with runny noise, rattling,and not eating. Ive gave them 2 doses ea of tylan 50 1cc each and it seems to be working. Its the second morning and no runny noise or rattling. I also gave them a mixture of oatmeal and yogurt to get them to eat something and it worked. I did some garlic and honey and colloidal silver for the rest of flock......Thanks again everyone.....
