Thank you Kathy. So treat for 5-7 days at 1 1/2 tsp and then reduce to a third tsp without stopping? Is that correct? Also someone told me that I should mix a new gallon every 24 hours....is that info correct as well?

If you have the powder, yes, that's what the FDA and the mfg's suggest. Needs to be their only source of water (no puddle, ponds, creeks, etc.) Also make fresh daily.

Thanks, I have so much to learn. It doesn't matter yet though since my girls are 24 and 29 week old freeloaders at the moment, but it is good to know.

So today is day 5 of treatment for coccidia for these poor girls. I am still finding yellow diarrhea and tonight I saw some frank blood on their straw. I am feeling beyond frustrated and just want to get this under control! I plan on treating for the full 7 days and then having a fecal tested again. As far as I know, no worms were seen on the last one but I am wondering if they may have them and that is why I am still seeing diarrhea and now some blood? From what I have read, everyone treating with Corid seems to get the problem solved quickly. I'm starting to feel hopeless!
