Couple questions:
I’m treating all girls with Elector PSP. Today marks the second treatment. First treatment was six days ago. I have soaked them under wings, belly, vent, top of the head, chest area, and on their back all the way to tail feathers. One girl in particular has it really bad.

- I would like to know what can I give to aid in this process. For example, I have poultry cell and probiotics. What other recommendations do y’all have? I just wanna help them get through this as best as possible.

- How many times do I need to give treatment? I do understand giving 5 to 7 days apart. I just need to know how many times I need to do this.

- At what point do I know that the elector PSP treatment is working? For my girl that hasn’t really bad, I almost want to treat with ivermectin.
Can somebody please give me advice on that as well.

Thank you so much. Y’all are very much appreciated❤️🐓❤️

Does you bottle of Elector PSP not have a label with instructions for mixing and other applications. Generally there is a timeline printed on the label, right?

If not, then you can definitely view the label and safety data sheets on the manufacturer's website. https://farmanimal.elanco.com/us/poultry/product/elector-psp

Do you have photos of your hens?

Have you confirmed depluming mites?

If you are already treating with Elector PSP, then I would be extremely hesitant to also treat with Ivermectin. I'll put a link to dosing below, but it's up to you to determine what's the best course of treatment for your situation.

See that the birds are eating a nutritionally balanced feed, drinking well too. It wouldn't hurt to give them Poultry Cell twice a week for a few weeks. Follow the directions on the bottle.

Ivermectin dosing.
