Treating for Shock

I've been letting my 14 week old babies range on one side of the fence while my 7 month olds range on the other side. Somehow one of the BO babies got in with the big girls and they attacked her! It was so violent; I was in horror! When I got to her I thought she was a goner! At first it appeared that her neck may be broken but gradually she regained control, her breathing and heart rates regulated and she started standing and making normal little sounds. It has been nearly 5 hours since the incident and she seems ok except that she will not eat or drink. I've been putting drops of Pedialyte on her beak but she won't take it. I have her isolated in a warm, dark place and have given her a scrambled egg and a bowl of Pedialyte. She's just sitting. She's looking around and occationally she stands but it does not appear she has eaten or drunk. I'm fairly certain that she is in shock.

1) What more should I do for her?
2) How long can I expect this to last?
3) Could she die from shock?

Also, she had a watery poo right after the incident but has since had a normal poo.

No chickenzoo she doesn't have a buddy in with her. She's in a small box and I want to moniter her eating/drinking etc. I will stick a small stuffed animal in with her tho. Thanks for the suggestion!

She is responsive this morning but still no sign that she has eaten. She did take a few drops of Pedialyte that I dabbed on her beak. I am serving on a criminal jury and will be gone for about 10 hours. I'm scared to leave her but don't have much choice.

Any advice?

Try tempting her with warm canned dog food or scrambled eggs or both. Mixing her feed in warm water creating a warm mash might help too. I typically use a heat lamp or heating pad to help warm them, the extra heat seems to help, as long as they can get away from it if it becomes too hot. i thought perhaps her best bud might help tempt her to eat, as often when they see another chicken eating they are tempted...... but do what you think is best. There is really not anything else that you can do. Right now you just need to be patieant and wait. Good luck and I am rooting for your little chick.
