Treating lice with spinosad

i went out to play with my hens and when I was holding one I noticed she was missing feathers on her underbelly. It was lice I ordered spinosad to get rid of the lice. I was just going to clean the pen than put it around the clean areas but can I put this on the birds themselves?

Yes, spinosad is safe to use on chickens. I use it for lice, mites, and scaly leg mites. It's very effective.

That brand in the picture is only 0.5%. If you want to make up a batch that is equivalent to elector psp you mix 757 ml (25 ounces) of that with 3028 ml (102 ounces) of water.

Technically you aren't supposed to use anything that isn't labeled for poultry, but if you want to use it like Elector PSP then you spray the birds and their coop.

Ok I treated them today them seem happy ( except for me having to catch them to put in on them) thank you all
