:/If new chicks have not been immunized for coccidiosis and the feed is not medicated. Does terramycin or duramycin work to help prevent this? If not, what? If it does then how much should be added to the water and how often? TSC does not stock medicated feed for the starter grower mix. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks...

You want to use a sulpha drug such as Sulmet. You can get it at most feed stores. It comes in a small white bottle. Mix 2 cap fulls into a gallon of water or 1 cap full into the quart waterer. We run our chicks on this constantly for the first 4 weeks then once a month after that.
