Treating With Amoxicillin

If he's taking the correct dose with you sprinkling it on tomato that should be fine.

I give the Amoxcillin for 7 days, but I do believe you can give it as long as 10 if needed.

Anyway. What's in your capsules won't dissolve in water.
Weigh your rooster so you can give him the correct dosage. Dosage for Amoxicillin is 57mg per pound of weight given 2 times a day.

Mix your powder into something "known" like 1 teaspoon of yogurt, canned cat food, liverwurst, etc. This now can be easily divided to get your dosage.

For example if you have 250mg powder and mix it with 1tsp cat food...1/4 teaspoon would contain approx 62.5mg dose. Make sense?
