There are duplicates of a couple of things. I guess I'll go back to plain water and keep an eye on the other 2. Thanks for pointing that out!

Usually by the time my ducklings are a week old I am not giving them vitamins other than what they are getting in their feed and the greens I provide for them. Then I will put some Poultry Nutri Drench in their waterer about 1X a week.

I think they will be especially since your changing their feed to what is best for ducklings, wow 9 days old, yes time goes by way to fast. How is Qwackers this morning? The younger ones are 9 days old today so I guess they'll be fine without it. I didn't realize they were over a week old, time flies!

If you feel it's stressing her too much maybe just warm water bath a few times a day and short massage right after since she'd be nice and relaxed after water therapy. just something to maybe think about. that way while your drying her off you can sneak in a little massage. you know while your sitting there watching the other 2 and drying Qwackers off a few neck rubs??One minute she seems better, then the next I'm not so sure. She just got her morning meds and a neck rub. I'm trying to massage her neck and back a few times a day, but she does not like it. It's a double edge sword, massage and stress her or don't and risk her recovery?
I'm trying to squeeze in more neck rubs here and there. This evening I notices that once she gets over the initial squirmyness she settles down, the last couple of times she let me reach in her brooder and rub for a few seconds. If you feel it's stressing her too much maybe just warm water bath a few times a day and short massage right after since she'd be nice and relaxed after water therapy. just something to maybe think about. that way while your drying her off you can sneak in a little massage. you know while your sitting there watching the other 2 and drying Qwackers off a few neck rubs??![]()
So right now your only doing the poly vi sol?I'm trying to squeeze in more neck rubs here and there. This evening I notices that once she gets over the initial squirmyness she settles down, the last couple of times she let me reach in her brooder and rub for a few seconds.
This evening when I got home from work she looked really bad and had a hard time getting up at first then walked in lots of circles. Once she got oriented she was able to walk a little better. There definitely isn't any improvement, but she's only had 2 doses of the vitamins so far. I will wait for another 2 or 3 days before I re-asses the situation.
Yes, it has all of the vitamins I read needed to treat wry neck except for selenium. I scoured the internet but couldn't find dosing for the selenium. So right now your only doing the poly vi sol?
I'm not sure how much selenium she should have either but I know it is used to treat wry neck. I wonder if you posted in the emergency disease section if someone might be able to give you a dosing for chicks?Yes, it has all of the vitamins I read needed to treat wry neck except for selenium. Is there something you think I should add to the routine? Amanda was using niacin and vitamin E, I think that was all.
