I think I'll try the towels, thanks for the tips. We have a rag shop around the corner that sells white shop towels by the pound, 10 pounds in a box for $5. That way I'll have enough to cycle them out. I think I am going to go back to the old fashioned top load washer. I have tried the front and top load energy efficient ones and they just don't last. I like the idea of being able to soak my laundry, and throw in a bit of bleach without damage.I wait for the poo to dry them shake it and scrape it into the yard before I put it in the washer. Then I do a rinse cycle with vinegar and bleach, then do a regular hot wash with extra rinse (using detergent for the wash cycle. )
I hope you get a new washer soon!
