Treating Wry Neck In Crested Duckling *EDITED TITLE*

Sorry I haven't posted any updates recently, things have been HECTIC! Between work, home, weather, unexpected out of town guests, UGGG I feel like nothing is getting completed.

Qwackers is doing great, still standing tall:) She had her last dose of Prednisolone on Sunday. Indie and Raj are fully feathered and itching to get outside.

I have not been able to move anyone outside yet. Last week, and through the weekend, was rainy and a mess. The only thing I have left for them is to put down the predator apron so no diggers can get inside, and latches on the door. There has been standing water around their enclosures so laying the wire has been impossible. Their actual area is high and dry, but with the rains it looks like there is a moat around 2 sides. I have 2 dump truck loads of fill dirt to fill in the low spots as soon as the wire is down. This really has become the chicken/duck house project that will never end. My husband keeps saying "it's just a chicken/duck house, they don't care if it is perfect!" He is right...I need to get it finished and get them in, then piddle with the "pretty" stuff after.

Quacks or rasps? Do you have more ducks in your future? Lol
Indie is the only one that is raspy, so pretty positive he's a he;-) Raj is more quiet and soft spoken so she is a she? Qwacker is still undetermined. She is feathering in MUCH slower than the other 2 and her voice has not changed. The vet said that because she has had a hard time she may develop slower than the other 2, so she is a little behind. We'll just have to wait and see if we have a girl or boy with Qwacks:-D

Glad to hear Qwackers is now finished with her meds and still doing great!! yay. as for genders well usually the ducks are loud quackers drakes are the raspy quackers. so verdict might still be out on Raj. but I hope duck if that's better for you. I'm just happy to hear Qwackers is doing so well. Look forward to seeing your completed project. Well like you said never completed but with them in it.

It is not finished, but is safe and secure. I still have lots to do, paint, landscape, nest boxes...I am bringing all of my chickens, Indie and Raj tomorrow morning and putting them in their runs. I don't have much scheduled for tomorrow so I will be able to check on them often. Qwackers is going to stay at home until this weekend. I will bring her Saturday and put her in her run. That way I will have NO distractions and can spend all day observing if I need too. I'll pack a picnic lunch and hang with them all day.

I am SO excited to get them out of the garage. I have felt horrible the past couple of weeks, they're SO ready for more room and sunshine!
