Treatment for mites or lice?

What's your weather like? If you are in the US in winter, then getting a Permethrin based poultry dust to treat the birds themselves may be better than using spray. Put the dust in a sock, then bob the sock all over them releasing the powder and work it down into the feathers to the skin. Dust the whole bird, but try to keep the dust out of their eyes.
Spray will work great in the coop/housing.
Even in warmer months, I dust birds and spray housing.

Also, you need to do weekly treatments for 3 or 4 weeks spraying inside the coop everywhere, every crack and crevice where they like to hide, and because it doesn't kill the pests eggs but will as they hatch out. You can use the premixed sprays or mix it yourself according to the chart I posted in a post above. Again, good luck...
