I have a twofer question,
1. I remember reading about "hot foods" somewhere and I'm sure corn was on the "hot" list, the question is all forms of corn i.e. cracked/fresh.
2. I'm experimenting with run cover and have used straw with no chicken issues..I'm considering Bermuda hay next ..anything negatives about hay?

Yes all forms of corn are considered hot, or to keep your chickens warm in the winter. I’m not sure about Bermuda hay. I personally use chips and shavings.

The only issue I know with hay is if the stands tangle together and make a mat that becomes a nuisance. And that might or might not happen. If the hay is readily available to you, I suggest you try it and see how it works.
