Treats foe ducklings?

lettuce, spinach, beet greens, pea greens, peas, broccoli,(mine love gold fish and worms) ect... i did read that avacado and citrus are not a good idea. but lots of people give them citrus anyway and i never heard that the birds died. i dont just because i dont know for sure.

Our Indian Runners love night crawlers! My husband shovels dirt for them daily. When the ducks see him coming out of the barn with his shovel, they get really excited and run straight to the dirt-pile.

Thawed frozen veggies, especially peas or french cut green beans.
Lettuce or other salad greens.
Dandelion greens and flowers.
Dry cat food

Mine love spinach leaves, thawed frozen peas and tomatoes. Their latest new crazy is playing with my watermelon rind. I always leave a little melon on the rind for the hens but the ducks have been trying it and enjoying making a mess with it.

I wonder if it's okay to give them pieces of fish - like canned salmon or tuna?
I'm not sure - but if anyone else does, I'd love to know! I'm looking for different treat ideas too!

My three little Muscovy ducklings that are now almost 3 weeks old have become Piranha ducklings whenever I get anywhere near them with a hand full of raw spinach!!! I tear it up into bits, or try to, while they are tearing it out of my hands. They are soooooooo cute!

They also love thawed frozen veggies that I have put into the food processor to break down for them. They love the spinach more though. I tried them with some mashed up strawberries, but they were scared of it! LOL Also, some banana, but they didn't want that either.

I will have to try some of the other suggestions on here. For now, though, the raw spinach is their absolute favorite!!
