Treats for 2 week old chicks?

Also I can't really get in the brooder I have made for them and when I try to pick up one they all go running and squawking away from me.  I try to spend some time with them in the morning before work and after I come home from work.  I want them to be used to me and I talk to them too so they can get used to my voice.  Does anyone have suggestions on helping them be calm and easier to pick up?
