Today I hung a cabbage up in the run...the girls are all going nuts for it. I did a head of lettuce last time and it lasted maybe an hour...at least the cabbage is lasting a bit longer.

I got two extremes in eggs today. A peewee weighing in at 38g and a Jumbo weighing 88g....YUMMMY!

What a neat idea. How did you hang the cabbage?

I'm just guessing but it looks like you made a hole in the bottom of the cabbage and then strung the rope through?

Your hens are so fat'n 'purdy! [IMG]

I have a Golden Buff ( Red Sex Link, Cinnamon Queen, etc...) hen that lays the biggest, prettiest eggs. She is molting and still gives me a egg a day! [IMG] [IMG], although I haven't gotten one in awhile..but she has been laying them about 2-3 months into her molt. I was going to order 25 more Golden Buffs from Cackle, but decided I should wait.
