So I had an original bad ratio of 2 males to one female, and we got two more females for now (I know still not ideal, but we will watch carefully and separate if necessary, they’re only like 8 weeks, new girls are about 6 weeks and we have separation options if needed later on).

My original babies LOVE frozen peas as treats, and not much else, bought dried larvae and they were afraid of it, lol—they did eventually finish the bag, but were still quite suspicious, wondering if they’d feel the same about mealworms? My 2 new little ladies have absolutely no interest in the peas, though, and think the original 3 are crazy when they run up to me to devour any peas I might have. They all free range a lot during the day (with a huge worm population they discovered under my rabbit cage!) and get duck feed morning and evening, not worried about supplementing them nutritionally so much as trying to bribe the new little ladies into eating from my hand.

Any other sure fire treats that your ducks absolutely love?

Thank you! Any sure fire/can’t resist suggestions that will be just as beloved as their peas, but might be enticing to the new ones?
