TREATS!

Finally my babies are 4 weeks old.
Got parakeet grit or w.e its called.
WHAT TREATS DO I GIVE MY LITTLE BABIES?

Wet their mash a little, they usually like that. A little older and we gave ours bananas, they loved strawberries and wet oatmeal. Tuna and all beef hotdogs for a very rare treat when older will almost get you killed they like it so much.

mine LOVE boiled amen noodles. not too much, and be sure to rinse the portion you are giving to your little friends

they LOVE it!

scrambled eggs are also really good for them, and the love it!

Can someone please tell me why citrus is on the no-no list?! I'm really hoping I haven't done any damage to my babies!

You didn't hurt them. Chickens usually won't eat citrus. It is a point of contention here whether it is actually harmful.

oh - and don't forget to start giving them grit! they will need the grit if you are giving them treats!

I LOVE that treat chart...but...it doesn't say hold old the chickies should be before giving them...

For instance, is it okay to give my 3-week-olds strawberries?
