How old do chicks have to be to get treats and what can they get our babies are only a month old

They should be old enough now for treats, I'm not sure of the entire list of treats suitable for babies but I know cooked egg yolks or scrambled eggs are popular for a lot of people on here. I know some people buy mealworms also. I like to give mine fruit, they love grapes an cantaloupe!

Mine are 3 weeks old or so and they get treats. I figured it they're going outside for short periods where they eat grass and bugs, treats should be okay. I make sure they have plenty of grit ($1.25 parakeet grit from Walmart) and they seem to be doing well. And they really like to see me coming now.

One month is old enough to start on some of the bigger stuff, such as kitchen scraps. Our chickens pretty much devour our kitchen scraps, so nowadays we never really throw any edible food away.

Egg and even cooked chicken is very popular. This may seem strange, but they can't tell, they just think it's tasty food. :p Mine also like other meats as well as a little bread, rice and grapes.
