i have three week olds, and have given them tiny pieces of romaine, and raw oats, and plain yogurt mixed with their feed. they love it, but i am wondering if i have done the wrong thing. they are still eating their regular feed. can someone advise me, please?

They should still eat their food, just make the treats occasional. You can hang broccoli from the top of the brooder, it'll give them exercise also.

I got a baby cake and it solved the "what treat to give" thing for me. I want to wait till they are older before giving vegetables etc. and their bodies get strong to handle all the different foods.

It says to give it to them little by little 20 minutes at a time the first few days.

Day one they were terrified of it. Day 2 Funky May got brave and pecked at it and then started a feeding frenzy lol, now they wait for it and have a blast pecking at it ( 4-1/2 weeks old)

I also think all vegetables should be raw to get the most out of them. I can't wait till mine are a bit older and I feed them carrots, should be a riot to watch them
