I saw this stuff in the store the other day...

and thought to myself... I bet the chickens would love a handful of this once a week or so...


Would there be any reason to avoid blends like this? I would imagine even the $17 (it was $14 in the store where I saw it), 5 pound bag would last months.

Wild birds REALLY like this stuff. I would think it would be a ok treat for chickens......
