is suet a good treat for chicken i feed wild birds so i have a lot of suet .i a newby with chickens

Yes, they will love it. I only give it in winter though, as there are so many bugs etc for them to the eat the rest of the year. The suet blocks give them something new to do when the ground is frozen over in winter and foraging yields nothing.
