Tribute to Latestarter

Reading this breaks my heart.
He was inspirational, kind, and gentle.
I will certainly miss his posts.
While he was here in Colorado he was active on the Colorado thread. I had the pleasure of knowing him through those posts.

My sincerest condolences to first his family and friends, second to all the online friends he had on BYC and BYH.

Joe was a wonderful person. He will be very much missed.

I knew things were not good for a time. He had plenty of trouble with his joints and arms, no grip. Yet he kept working on his "goat mansion" when he could. And he got it finished. We all figured he would get through that but when the posts stopped a couple of weeks ago (we all had a lot of fun teasing over on BYH and he played along) and were then just short replies I really felt things must be going bad. Didn't know how bad though until a few days ago. I will miss him greatly.

Thank you for sharing, Bruce. I didn’t really know him either but have seen him around both here and BYH and I liked reading his posts. I remember whenever I asked some goat questions over on BYH, he seemed to always answer my questions and was very helpful, informative, and kind. I also liked following along on his goat threads and various other threads on there. He will be missed for sure. And condolences to his family and his friends and all his BYC/BYH friends.

He will be missed by me and others at The Old Folks home thread here. He was a Veteran and I am thankful for his service and his contributions here at BYC. He was a great member of the BYC family. When I mentioned passing not too far from him on my way through Texas, he said I should have said something and stopped by. I wish I had.
My condolences to his family...he spoke often and highly of you here.
