We are having a glorious sunrise. It's all pink & red. Quite amazing.
It was warm enough yesterday evening. Took a break from winter garden clean up & sat on my back porch steps. Had a turkey sitting on either side of me. Just hanging out before bedtime. Cuties!

Amazing how many folks will argue about my bearded hen being a boy. Experienced turkey hunters are usually familiar with hens having beards. But most of my neighbors... not so much.

I'd have a rough time dispatching a turkey. How do you not get attached to a turkey?

Guys next door were in their driveway shooting baskets. Annie puffed up and had to verbally express her displeasure. Daisy waddled right into the middle of the game. Guys had to take a turkey break. These aren't kids...they are in their 30s. And they all had to get a selfie with Daisy. She's a flirt. Loves attention... just has to be in the middle of all activities. While Daisy was posing, Annie was sneaking around untieing shoe laces! Gotta love a turkey!
