Caught up with them two doors down. What's the deal with cats? This is about the third time they've chased or cornered a cat. They instantly go into attack mode when they see a cat.

We had much colder than normal weather for a week and now it's in the 70's. Warmer than normal. Had thunderstorms yesterday. Weird weather.

Went for a stroll yesterday evening with the girls. They went right to the spot they saw the cat. So now I have a coonhound hunting possums and turkeys hunting cats....

We had thunderstorms ALL DAY yesterday. Kept the girls in their pen. They grumped about it! The worst was my bored year old coonhound. What a pest he can be when he doesn't get to work off some of that energy.

Westminster is on tonight. Watch for my coonhounds half sister in the hound group. Hounds will be the first group in the ring tonight. Treeing Walker Coonhounds will be one of the last to be examined. Herding is the last group. One of my bitches got an Award of Merit. The dog in the group tonight is not one of mine.

Warmer here. Going to be 70 today. Daffodils everywhere! Found the girls sitting on the porch in a patch of sun. Right at the edge, looking out into the yard. Backs to the door. Had to admire how pretty their feathers are. Such beautiful birds. Of course they realized I was standing there, hopped up, & started barking at me. They were ready for their evening stroll!

Geez....30-40 mph wind gusts. Was over at the airport. Pretty amusing watching them trying to land planes. Got home & the wind is sure ruffling feathers. Chickens are hunkered down. Turkeys came running. Wind practically blew their tails straight up!
