Yes Rjohns...still getting soaked over here. Trees are falling over all around town. Rush hour traffic wrecks everywhere. Some flooded roads.
These fronts do seem to go either north or south of us. Memphis is actually on a bluff. As these storms come across the flat delta of Arkansas they seem to split when they reach the Mississippi and the bluff we are on.

Weatherdork had an interesting statistic. Last time we went 4 days without rain over a weekend was last October.

Poor girls. Its impossible to take a proper dust bath with all this rain. And their poor little toes are getting muddy. They need a spa day. Heck...I need a spa day!
There are spas for dogs....alas, no spas that will take a turkey hen. I can so see Daisy enjoying a pedicure and neck & wing massage.

Apparently mine don't want to take the time to go broody. They have too much of a social life to bother with sitting in a corner. Too much to see & do in the hood. Or maybe, they aren't given a chance since I'm there to snatch those eggs as soon as they lay them...

Geez....thought Daisy ran away from home! Had been working in the yard. Had the man door to the garage open. Guess she wandered in. Put my stuff up, closed the door & went to round up the girls for bed. No Daisy. Looked everywhere. No response to my calls. Was about to panic. Finally dawned on me that Annie was standing by the door yelping at me. Apparently trying to tell me to open the door. Yep....there she was. And not too happy about it either.
