Ya'll know I've been involved with dogs for 30 or so years. I've noticed some folks have a "natural " eye for movement & conformation. That said, Ralphie, your DW named that bird "Ginger ", which I consider sort of a girlie name. May she has a natural eye and subconsciously felt it was a hen.

As we say in Memphis, Adam is a "hunk o'burning love". She said he weighs around 22 pounds. I thought that was a good size for a baby! She spent a lot of time with him while he was in isolation and he bonded & turned out to be a real sweetie.

Ralphie. ..I think it was a subconscious thing on the part of your wife, naming Ginger. Can't wait to see the close up shots!! I'm still betting hen. Regardless, Ginger is a gorgeous color.

So bored at my sisters! I actually took my dogs out early for a big run in freezing weather. Uggg! But I have to say, I enjoyed the cold more than I thought I would. It's only in the 20's. My dogs loved it! They like the cold better than I do! Her little dogs have to wear coats to go tinkle in the backyard.
