Penny's Mama.....she's not a mess! She's a lapper! My girls are lappers. Nothing better than a hen hug. Or in my case, they tend to fall asleep & enjoy a nap.

Coonhound killed his first cat. It was in my backyard. Let him out the back door. He saw it immediately. Cat never had a chance. No collar, not sure if it was a stray or someone's pet. As usual, quick clean kill. Then he ran off to potty. It was sort of a drive by kill. Poor guy had to poop! That's one thing I consistently hear about coonhounds....NOT GOOD WITH CATS.

Turkeys should have rescue groups! LOL! I know there are chicken rescues. I've had great luck adopting older turkey hens. Ralphie rescued a couple turkeys with great results too.

Sooo....had the girls out front for a graze. We wandered a few yards down. My neighbor was watching as we trooped down the sidewalk home. His observation was interesting...he thought they walked with an incredible confidence & self importance. Self importance! If he only knew!!
