Slowly warming up. Going to be in the mid 60's here by Christmas. Crazy weather.

Daisy got an early Christmas present! A box of homemade cookies from one of the kids on the street. Too cute! Actually, it was her first time baking cookies with her Grandma & she wanted to share some with Daisy. Obviously Daisy will never get her beak on them....yum!! She came to the door with the cookies....Grandma standing behind her trying hard not to laugh. I asked her if I could try one...she told me they were for Daisy. Gee...thanks kid!

Well I survived Christmas! It was 73 in St. Louis. As much as I loved the beautiful weather....it didn't feel very holiday-ish! Hanging out today then home to Memphis tomorrow. Warm weather is continuing through the weekend. So hope to spend some time with the girls!! Currently Blossom seems to be my teenager with the most lapper potential. So the plan is to pick her up & plop down in a chair. Hoping for the best!
Around the family dinner table....lots of grandkids photos, and then me....with my pics of the teenagers. Most where very polite and said they were "pretty".

Been in Missouri since xmas eve. MISSING MY GIRLS!! I'm ridiculous. When I tell folks I need to head home because I miss my turkeys I usually get a blank stare! We had a nice Christmas. But the weather was so warm that it took a bit of that holiday feel away. Wish I had been home....I could have got a ton done in the gardens! Plus, the turkeys just LOVE helping! I'm hoping to get some trimming done. I'll set up my ladder. That's always a big deal with the girls! Gardening with the girls...one of my favorite things!!

Hey Ralphie....wha5s your weather doing? Are you in line for the ice storm? Be careful up there!

We were expecting storms over night. If we had them, it didn't wake me, or the coonhound, up. Going to rain all day. Between 1-3" expected. Bummer....but grateful its rain & not our usual ice!

Found the girls all sprawled out in the sun. Sunbathing was their main priority yesterday. They decided to bath in the path through my garden. A single line of hens down the path. It was funny looking. Tried to get a picture, but that didn't work. Each one was on their side with wings & legs everywhere. Necks extended, eyes closed, just dozing in the sun. They sure were enjoying themselves!
