Trick-a-roo?? What breed also?

Olive egger
Almost 12 weeks

I have posted this chick before. One of those super hard to tell chickens. The response before was pullet.

Now what do you all think?
Pullet or roo?

As a side question, can anyone tell me what breed she may be to become an olive egger?

No. It’s quite normal for pullets to have spiky tail feathers, just not spiky saddle feathers

Agreed, pullet.. indicated by the dark barring of the feather pattern. For the stated age she has little to no wattles either.. No fear of later development at this point.. SHE is throwing ALL kinds of gender indicators.

Maybe a crested cream Legbar cross if sold as an OE.. All OE will be crosses unless someone has worked for generations to get something that breeds true. I'm not sure crossed to what though... Something non bearded and clean legged.

Pullet! Thinking Cream Legbar crossed with a Marans (pink legs)

X2 on cream legbar/marans. We have one almost identical and those 2 seem the most likely of the blue/dark brown laying usual OE suspects. Makes the most sense between the crest, legs, etc.

I did think earlier she looked like my OE, who was a CL x Cuckoo Marans. My OEs were stupendously big pullets.
