Is there a trick to getting HC to lay flat? Most of it laid really nice but a few spots.... not so much! Suggestions welcome :love

Hi !
It looks good , but if you want to add more screws/washers ... I’d remove it and start at the top and work down , and excess can be trimmed at the bottom or buried ....

Good luck it’s lots of work

You can start in the middle and work toward the ends or start at one end and work to the other end, it doesn't work so well if you start at both ends and work to the middle.

Starting in the middle and working our way out seemed to work best for us.

I usually start at top and work down....depends on size and shape of piece to be installed....helps of framing is square.
Showing a pic of that whole wall might garner more specific suggestions.

I roll it the other way and then when I unroll it, I work from top to bottom. After I tack it up with a hammer stapler, I cover the entire end with a top dressed piece of thin lumber. It not only looks nice, but it seals every inch of the open side.
