tricks or secret to keeping grass growing with geese?

Then what do people do in the winter,,if we don't have access to alfalfa? would hay be useful at that point? We get snow here!

Thank you for that info! I plan on putting a hay holder and stuffing it full each day with grasses and fresh greens all summer. Then in the winter we will have to give alfalfa hay and fresh greens as well . I have no other options. I absolutely won't give them away to anyone , they were rescued, and I adore them too much now! I will do my best in keeping them happy and healthy. They sure seem happy to me, and when I come to see them they come running to me as if to say..."mommy! you're here!"...too cute,I really love them
