Does anyone know what breed of chicken this is? No one seems to know and i just went to the new York State fair and there were hundreds of roosters but none like this.

I agree, the feathers are messy, The fluffy feathers aren’t in great condition and the tail feathers look pretty ruffled, And the wattles only have a bit of turquoise on them.

I believe the word you are looking for is Hatchery quality. Though he is still just as beautiful.

Yes, not show quality, the wording for “bad quality” when talking about poultry is Hatchery Quality

Every one is telling me around here it is not a silkie because of his comb and the color of his feet and the texture of his feathers.
