So nice to see someone so close to me (I'm in the next county over from KG & work in Dahlgren)

Our coops are too far from the house & garage to run fans, so I misted them down yesterday and that seemed to help.

Yeah! Welcome to BYC! Hope you didn't loose power yesterday with the storms. We lost ours for about 20 hours. I plugged in the generator and my DH took our kids to visit grandma to go swimming in the Bay.

This 100+ degrees is awful. My girls are still panting. I've misted, fanned and iced them as much as I can. So far they are holding their own. Hoping it cools off soon.
