Trouble getting chickens to roost

We have a mobile coop that has space underneath it that the chickens can get shade. we have electric fencing to keep them in and predetors out during the day, but at night we lock them up. So far, they have been roosting on the ground and not in their coop. does anyone know the best way to get them to go in at dusk on their own?

any input would be greatly appreciated.

You could put a little LED battery flashlight or light up there. The light might draw them up. Then turn it off when you close them up.
