Trouble with ducklings!

X2 Miss Lydia. Most ducks are not fans of snuggling. Some will tolerate it, but for the most part if that is truly important to you, you might want to consider something that does like to snuggle a lot. My guinea pigs are sweeties, I can hold them for hours. Providing I have my poop/pee towel! LOL

LOL, Yep those poop pee towels are very important

Ducks are prey animals...it's their instinct that being picked up means being eaten. Not even real duck mothers would pick up their ducklings, so there's nothing natural about it.
The best way to snuggle with your ducks like someone else posted, is to climb in their pen and lie down. Try doing that in the afternoon, after they eat, and in the evening after their dinner. They'll likely climb all over you and even "do your feathers" for you, if they see you as their duck mamma. This is the best and most natural way to bond with the little tykes. If you lie on your back, they'll even climb on your stomach and take their little naps. Precious!
