I am completely fine with hatching chicken eggs I can get 98% or so, but with pheasants and ducks they seem to get to the final week or so and just die. They never pip or anything. We have two Hovabator Genesis 1588's that I use with auto turners. I use one for incubating and one for the hatcher. When I crack the dead ones open they are perfectly formed, yet have not absorbed the yolk. I lay them down when I put them in the hatcher I lay them down I was wondering if I should be standing them up.
