Trouble with Pekin Leg

Possibly over doing before she is strong on her legs. What are you feeding and tell me how much complex your giving her an how? She’s getting 1 ml a day? Over a treat?
They started on Dumor 20% non medicated chick starter and at 4 weeks switched to naturewise 18% starter. They get 2 scoops Brewers yeast 2-3 times a day in their feed. They get a snack of usually peas or romaine lettuce and I spray 3ml b complex on the treats and I also give the Pekin with more wider stance 1 ml a day. Before the b complex she was walking on her mid legs and not getting great extension in legs when standing and over last two weeks we saw huge improvement in her standing and walking like the rest. She was out Sunday free ranging with the rest and did great. Monday after I gave her a bath noticed she became more vocal and yesterday when they went out her leg is slanted in almost 45 degrees when walking and left foot is facing right instead of forward. She's still eating and drinking and trying to get around with the rest. Both Pekins got very big very fast.

I also add old fashioned oats when giving them all feed to cut back.

Sounds like possibly an injury. I’d keep her confined so she rests keep up the B complex it’s is very important for the health of her legs. I have a gander right now on 1 month rest from an injury to his leg. He gets pool time and feed an water but he isn’t able to run around on the half acre that’s their fenced property. Leg injuries can take quite a while to heal if this is what it is.

Thanks for all your help and time! At what point in your experience do we say yes probably a leg injury versus something like neurological issue? Just do best we can and wait and see?

All we can do is guess what maybe going on. But if she was showing progress and then had this set back possibly she injured her self trying to keep up or just lost her balance and her legs not being strong she injured herself. Best you can do now is just supportive care and time and rest for her. When my Runner injured her leg [and I have no idea how] I kept her in a dog x pen out where everyone hangs out so she could still be with the birds but she had limited space to move around so she would rest. It took 3 weeks till she wasn't limping I let her out and it started again which let me know I should have waited an extra week just to make sure the leg was healed enough to go up and down the hills they are on daily.

Best of luck, I hope your Pekin heals up quickly. Not sure if someone mentioned this yet, but in the photo you posted above it looks like the one foot is turned inwards and the other was raised up. Have you checked the bottom of both feet and felt the legs for swelling? Could it be possible that the one foot or leg is injured and the duck is using the inward turned one as support and balance? Not sure how likely it is, but was wondering if it would be possible to rule that out.

So I did examine both legs, the limp is on the side with the foot turned in. I feel line that's the leg that's being the issue. From where the leg starts at the top going down to the foot, it's slanting almost 45 degrees and facing inward like it's twisted. Her other leg is straight. They were both straight and upright prior to this. Neither leg seems swollen or feels weird buy I'm fairly new to ducks and fowl and am not expert with this stuff. When it walks the entire duck is walking crooked to try and compensate for the inward facing foot. I also looked underneath both feet and didn't see anything.

Yes they've been getting this for little over two weeks everyday on treats

Since they are on the older side, recovery time may be longer. I would keep administering the B complex daily, I would also keep her in a secure pen with dry clean soft bedding, so she can rest those legs. Some water therapy may also help to relieve the weight off her legs, she will need to be watched the entire time she is in the water to ensure she doesn't drown.
